Headquartered in Northern California, Chevron has been at the forefront of developing technology for cleaner, purer base oils. Our Richmond, California refinery was the first to produce all-hydroprocessed base oils. We worked hard with OEMs, API and ILSAC to understand how these base oils could enable cleaner, more fuel efficient engines.
With our new Pascagoula, Mississippi base oil plant under construction, we are expanding our capacity even further to give our customers an even more reliable supply chain for premium base oils.
